Ways to use a white eyeliner, many ways to use a light eyeliner

Do you own a white eyeliner pencil? If you don't I definitely suggest getting yourself one  {or more} because it is such a versatile product. I've got the MUA Intense Colour Eyeliner Pencil in Snow White which is just £1 {you can read my full review on the product} and it is an amazing product to have in your collection.

Here are some of the ways you can use this one product but achieve different end results:

1. As an eyeliner

We all own black eyeliners right? So why should the white eyeliner be any different. You can use it like you would use a regular black eyeliner to create so many different looks starting from using it to create a white cat eye, applying it under your eye and black eyeliner on top, tracing your entire eye & dragging out the bottom line, and the list goes on. You just have to be a tad bit creative. It looks absolutely amazing.

2. Applying it to your waterline

Applying it to your waterline makes your eyes look bigger because it gives off the illusion that the sclera {which is the white part of the eye} is larger than it actually is. Hence giving you a more awake, brighter appearance.

3. Brightening your inner corners

Brightening the inner corners of my eyes with a white eyeliner pencil is something I started doing lately because it brigthens your face. I also think it gives the illusion that you put a lot more effort into your makeup than you actually did. I think it goes very well with a bold lip like I did in my review of the Flormar Waterproof Lipliner in 224.

4. As a highlighter

If your white eyeliner is creamy enough and you are light in complexion, you can easily use it as a highlighter. Just apply it to all the areas you normally would {that is, you forehead, down your nose, on your upper cheeks & on your cupid's bow} and blend it all out. I've tried this trick for under my eyebrows and think it worked really well. It didn't work as well for highlighting my entire face though.

5. As an eyeshadow base

Eye shadow bases/ primers are important if you'd like your look to stay put all day without creasing or looking like you took a nap on your face. So if you've run out of your eye primer or forgot it and flew off on a trip, don't worry because you can always use your white eyeliner pencil for this. I find that creamier white eyeliners work best for this as well. Just do a few strokes of eyeliner on your eyelid and then blend it out with your finger. It will make your eyeshadow more vivid and will keep it in place all day long.

Isn't it great when you can reuse one product in so many different ways? All the options above also work well with a beige or gold eyeliner pencil. I am on the hunt for one, so be sure to let me know of any in the comments.

Any other suggestions on how to use a white eyeliner pencil?
